Mill Optimization with FPA (Functional Performance Analysis) and Simulation

FPA has been applied for closed mill circuits effectively especially for ball mills. Based on FPA logic, classifier, ball mill and total circuit efficiencies are calculated separately and finally integrated in a single coefficient. The effects of design and operating variables can be seen by tracking this coefficient. And necessary precautions are taken to optimize the process. However, each time in plant, sampling must be carried out to see the effect of proposed precautions. DAMA carries out a sampling survey at the beginning and then carries out simulation work to optimize FPA coefficient and so the circuit. Finally, propose an optimized circuit configuration with the optimized variables (operating and if necessary design change).
